Anees TV is a player — it plays the IPTV playlist you already have. It doesn't include or sell any channels or movies. Below are the questions people ask most.
What do I need to use Anees TV?
Your own playlist from a provider you already use — either an M3U /
M3U8 link or an Xtream Codes login (server address,
username, password). Anees TV plays it; it does not provide the content.
I don't have a playlist — can I still try it?
Yes. On the setup screen, tap "Load demo playlist" to explore
the app with free, legal sample content (public-domain and Creative Commons
films) before adding your own.
How do I add my playlist?
Open the app → Add playlist → choose M3U
URL or Xtream Codes → paste your details →
Save & load. On a TV, use the on-screen keyboard with your
remote. Your playlist is saved on your device.

When something is already broken there are four more:
buffering or stuttering ·
a missing TV guide or posters ·
"couldn't reach the server" ·
an expired playlist.

Why are there no channels when I open the app?
Anees TV ships with nothing by design — it's a player, not a
service. Once you add your playlist, your channels, movies and series appear.
Why don't posters or the TV guide show?
Posters, ratings and the electronic program guide (EPG) come from your
provider's data plus TMDB. If they're missing, your provider may not supply
them, or you may be on an old version — please update to the latest build.
The video stutters or plays frame-by-frame.
This is almost always the device, not the app: a 4K or high-bitrate stream can
be too heavy for a low-cost TV box to decode. Open the ⓘ info
panel during playback — if it says "software" decoding, the
device is struggling. Try the same title in a lower resolution (FHD/1080p), or
switch players from the top bar (عالي الجودة /
Compatible).
A stream won't start / "couldn't reach the server."
Usually the provider or a specific stream is offline, or your network/region
blocks it. Try another channel, wait a minute (switching players too quickly
can trip your provider's connection limit), or use a VPN.
Can I use one account on several devices?
Yes. Turn on sync (Settings → Sync) to keep your
favorites, watch history and playlists together across up to 5 devices. Your
playlist and login are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded. If
you add a recovery email, we also keep an encrypted backup of that key so we
can restore your account — which means we can decrypt synced data for
recovery-enrolled accounts. Details in our
Privacy Policy.
I lost my sync code — how do I get back in?
If you added a recovery email: on a new device, Settings → Sync →
Recover my account, enter your email, then the code we email
you. Your library comes back. Add a recovery email before you need it.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → Sync → Delete account. Or on
the web at aneestv.com/delete. This
permanently erases your synced data.
What does Pro add?
Adjustable rewind/skip, downloads, unlimited playlists and automatic playlist
refresh. One purchase covers all your devices (Pro follows your account).
Do you track what I watch or show ads?
No ads, ever. We don't track your viewing and we don't sell your data. Your
playlist and credentials stay on your device or in your own encrypted sync
account. See our Privacy Policy.
Is the content in the app legal?
Anees TV provides no content. You are responsible for the
playlists and sources you add and for having the lawful right to access them.
See our Terms of Use.
