A sourced, dated comparison of two IPTV players

Choose TiviMate if you watch on an Android TV or Google TV device and want catch-up (in Premium), recording, multi-view or Stalker portals. Choose Anees TV if you want a free player with no ads on an Android phone, Fire TV from the Amazon Appstore or Windows, and can do without catch-up and recording.

Where Anees TV is different

• The free version is the full player. Live TV with a programme guide (with Xtream Codes logins), films and series and one playlist, with no ads and no time limit. Pro adds extras: unlimited playlists, automatic playlist refresh, TMDB ratings and artwork, household profiles, offline downloads and sync.
• Windows. Anees TV runs on Windows 10 and 11 from the Microsoft Store, alongside Android phones, tablets, Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV.
• Fire TV from the Amazon Appstore. Anees TV is listed in the Amazon Appstore, so a Fire TV does not need sideloading. The Downloader code 2228177 also works.
• Sync across devices. With Pro, favourites, continue watching and profiles follow you across up to 5 devices. Synced data is encrypted on the device before it is uploaded.
• Seven interface languages. Arabic with a full right-to-left layout, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish.
• Your own guide link. For an Xtream Codes playlist you can paste an XMLTV link (.xml or .xml.gz) and shift guide times by whole hours when a provider's times are off.
